NATIONAL INSPIRED ESSAY OLYMPIAD (NIEO)

NATIONAL INSPIRED ESSAY OLYMPIAD (NIEO) is conducted on a national level. IMOF encourage young people to cultivate the characteristic that turn good students into great writer. Independent though depth of knowledge, clear reasoning, critical analysis & persuasive style. We invite students to explore a wide range of challenging & interesting question beyond the confines of the school curriculum. It allows students to test their language skills.

It encourages story-telling thus making it more interesting. Students must be well- versed with topics on which they attempt essay writing.

This exam is open for students from Class 1 to Class 10.

Essay Topics is given on-the-spot depending on the level and grade the student is studying in. General topics about current affairs or our surroundings are usually preferred.

Competition is the best way to motivate talented people to present their thought & encourage their talent before a large audience.

Rules:

• The write -up shall be original & not published already on any platform/website
• The write- up can be in Tamil (or) English.
• The write-up will be published on our website reflection under the authors by line/name immediately after we declare the results.
• The article shall be range between a min of 800 words to 1000 max words, even if article is crossing 1000+ words to any max length, we will accept.
• You can submit more than one article also for the Olympiad.
• Judging Process: Winners will be decided by a panel of judges after 30 working days from the date of completing the exam.
• Competition will be conducted at the school premises.
• Schools below 100 student participants won’t be eligible for the Hamper & teachers’ gifts.
• The above-mentioned entries will be collected by an IMOF-NIEO representatives once your school is done hustings the competition.
• All prizes & rewards are non-transferable & non-en cashable.
• IMOF -NIEO is a property of IMOF reserves the rights to make any modifications, addition, omissions or alterations in the competition any prior notice.
